Mohammed “Big Mo the Nomadic” Alkhadher, was born on July 9th, 1990 in Jackson, Mississippi to a Kuwaiti father and an American mother. The 21-year-old international musician, producer, and songwriter made his home and set his roots in Kaifan before attending undergraduate college at Portland State University from 2007-2012. He frequently travels around the U.A.E. and U.S., earning his title, The Nomadic.

Influenced by such artists as “The Narcycist”, “Omar Offendum”, and Dubai-based “The Recipe”, as well as internationally-acclaimed musicians, “Notorious BIG”, “Method Man”, “Jay-Z”, and “Kendrick Lamarr”, Alkhadher feels most at home producing thought-provoking, and socially and politically conscious material. Concerned with the trajectory of contemporary, Western Hip-Hop, he praises the young poets making a difference in the various social spheres throughout the Middle-East. Hip-Hop has emerged as a form of reconciliation there, a platform upon which free expression may ameliorate the confusion and distress that political and religious strife brings to their doorstep.

Beginning in 2002, Alkhadher would rap with his local friends. Being the only one who could rap in English, he quickly found an outlet through which he could express his international background. His very first show was in March of 2011 where he was given the opportunity to share the stage with “Zulu Nation” DJs and other contemporary Middle-East musicians. Since then he has evolved as a lyricist and songwriter, playing at such popular Portland venues as Backspace, Berbati's Pan, and Venue 126, as well as opening for his Arab Hip-Hop idol, The Narcicyst, at the University of Oregon in February of 2012. His most appreciated and cherished inspirations are integrity and perseverance, instilled by his family, friends, and the desire and will to reach his goals.

Currently, Alkhadher is in the process of releasing The Nomadic Mixtape, LP, and merchandise line, all while getting back to the stage and reaching out to audiences across the U.S. and Middle-East.
