Love Lies Dying, from Portland, Oregon, is a band which strives to tap into your brain through passionate, well-crafted music. Drawing inspiration from rock legends like Pink Floyd and U2 to modern rock artists like Muse and Coldplay, their set will have you doing everything from contemplating music theory to dancing. Their self titled E.P., released in September, 2010, showcases their raw talent and their desire to achieve immaculate sound. Still a new band to Portland, formed in July of 2009, LLD has proven themselves a band worthy of stage presence in a town that is incredibly saturated with local talent. They have been categorized with the likes of Coldplay, U2, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, and Tool. Future projects, besides playing as many shows as possible, include: going on tour, recording a full length album, incorporating electronic sounds, writing…writing…writing – and doing whatever it takes to get their music to the people.
